Vendor Fees

Vendor Fees from Cancun to Tulum and in the Riviera Maya

Before you fall in love with any venue or resort, be sure to ask about Vendor Fees. Many all-inclusive hotels in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, the Riviera Maya and Tulum and even in San Miguel de Allende have their own approved or preferred vendors for hair and makeup, flowers, decor, music and PHOTOGRAPHY. If your taste does not jive with the resort and decide you want to use a vendor who is not on their list you may be required to pay a “vendor fee” for them to come on site.

Vendor fees in Cancun and the Riviera Maya range from 400 usd to all the way up to 900 USD per vendor, imagine if you want photo and video, exactly that’s a HUGE chunk of wedding budget.

Photography is a common issue with vendor fees since photos and video are one of the only tangible reminders of your day! Many on-site photographers offer a great “resort service”as family photo sessions but are unable to give you the same personalized service as a boutique studio. I used to work for the Excellence resorts in Playa Mujeres and I decided to quit cause must of the times i don't even had the opportunity to meet my bride and groom until the ceremony, we as your photographers need to talk to you before,

to try to know you or at least to know what ideas do you have, this is a very very important day in your life and i'm sure you don't want to give that responsibility to a Photographer that sees the photography as his every day 8 hrs job,
